Các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến chi tiêu cho giáo dục của người dân ở đồng bằng sông Cửu Long

Abstract

Nghien cuu nay nham tim hieu cac yeu to anh huong den chi tieu cho giao duc cua nguoi dan o Dong bang song Cuu Long (DBSCL). Bo so lieu Dieu tra muc song dan cu 2010 (Vietnam Living Households Standard Survey) duoc su dung de phan tich. Ket qua nghien cuu cho thay muc chi tieu cho giao duc hien tai cua nguoi dan con kha thap so voi cac khoan muc chi tieu thong thuong khac. Ngoai ra, co su khac biet giua muc chi tieu giua cac ho dan o thanh thi va nong thon, tuy nhien khong co su khac biet giua cac ho dan o cac tinh, thanh co muc thu nhap trung binh khac nhau o DBSCL. Ben canh do, mo hinh hoi quy kiem duyet Tobit chi ra rang, cac yeu to quan trong tac dong den muc chi tieu cho giao duc cua nguoi dan bao gom: trinh do hoc van cua chu ho, tuoi cua chu ho, tong thu nhap trong gia dinh. Cac yeu to nhu: hoc them, so nguoi nam va nguoi nu di hoc trong gia dinh cung gop phan lam tang khoan chi tieu nay. = This study aims to identify the determinants of households' expenditure in MekongRiver Delta (MRD). The data from Vietnam Households Living Standard Survey (VHLSS) 2010 are employed to analyse. The results show that the households' expenditure for education is quite low in MRD in comparision with other daily expenditures. In addition, although there are diffirences in expenditure level between households in urban and rural areas, the difference between households living in dissimilar areas regarding to total income level is not significant. Besides, the censor regession Tobit model states that the important factors which affect on education expenditure are years in school of household head, age of household head and total income of household. Other determinants which also increase the level of education expenditure are tutorial activity and the number of male and female students in households.
