Abstract: | The cleaning of ixodid ticks for microscopy can be achieved quickly and efficiently using a combination of a wax solvent and an ultrasonic cleaner. The technique involves minimum handling of specimens, produces no detectable damage and is suitable for cleaning many specimens at the same time. |
