dc.description.abstractThe article presents a brief sketch about the career profile of an artist, Nora Heysen and her relationship with her father, Hans Heysen. Nora Heysen was a much celebrated artist, as the subject of two National Library of Australia retrospectives and recipient of the Australia Council Award for Achievement in the Arts in 1993 and an Order of Australia in 1998. The author of the article focuses on the artists career, a brief biography of her life, and the influence of the artist's father on both.-
