Title: Intrinsic strength of merino wool fibres / by Andrew Nathan Thompson.
Author: Thompson, Andrew Nathan
Issue Date: 1998
School/Discipline: Dept. of Animal Sciences
Abstract: Results presented highlight the complexity of the task of postulating theoretical models on the basis of simple relationships between chemical constitution and mechanical properties, and more basic research is required to clearly define the roles of microfibril and matrix proteins on the mechanical characteristics of wool fibres.
