| Abstract: | Methods were developed to observe and quantify neutrophil transendothelial migration, both together with or independently of neutrophil-endothelial adhesion. Two mechanicisms of neutrophil transmigration were identified, and the role of one of the major mediators of this process, IL-8, was described. |
