Abstract: | Irrigation is an important industry in the Murray and Murrumbidgee basins, and is reliant on the rivers for its wealth and continuation. The Water for a Healthy Country Flagship and the Cooperative Research Centre for Irrigation Futures have conducted a detailed study of how irrigation is managed across the region and how improved water management can contribute to future sustainability. The results of this research are contained in this 16-page report. |
