Abstract: The University of Adelaide is currently undertaking a Situational Learning Initiative in order to make learning more engaging, relevant, interactive and collaborative, and to meet the learning styles of its increasing numbers of digitally literate learners. This paper outlines the rationale for this initiative and its goals and strategies. It reports on progress to date and future directions from a learning and teaching support perspective.
