| Description: | Extent: 33 performances. The series was recorded on DVD. Revolutions comprised a performance programme of three Ballets Russes works performed as part of the Australian Ballet’s 2006 season. It was also part of the Ballets Russes in Australia: Our Cultural Revolution Linkage project. The programme was selected on the basis of archival research into the original works, and the reinterpretation of those work by contemporary practitioners. The series was sponsored by The Australian Ballet, University of Adelaide and National Library of Australia and was supported by the ARC. |
