Abstract: | The mammalian hyaluronidases represent a family of enzymes that can degrade hyaluronan. This thesis examines the properties of hyaluronidase-1 and hyaluronidase-3, as well as the production of hyaluronan and the expression of hyaluronidase and hyaluronan synthases in mineralising osteoblasts. |
