Description: | Extent : 45 mins Ashley Turner composed and performed violin music for a theatrical work incorporating contemporary and traditional Australian Aboriginal dancing, singing and music. Boomerang was the result of the collaboration between prominent Indigenous and non-Indigenous musicians, artists, dancers, and choreographers, under the auspices of Indigenous Performers Management, to produce a new and original “cross-over” work that spoke to Indigenous and non-Indigenous audiences. |
