Abstract

The article presents the authors' comments on the article "Low-Frequency Microtremor Anomalies at an Oil and Gas Field in Voitsdorf, Austria," by Marc-André Lambert, Stefan Schmalholz, and Erik H. Saenger published in a previous issue of the journal. They say that none of the attributes described in the article can be considered to be hydrocarbon indicators at the Voitsdorf site. They do not preclude the possibility of signals from deep structures contributing to microtremor wavefields.
