Abstract: This Workshop is focused on the overarching goal of the SGRHS of delivering quality rural-based learning. The presenters will verbalise our reflection-in-action on what works and what doesn’t work in achieving this goal. The second Aim is to discover how other Rural Clinical Schools have shaped their learning experiences for undergraduates in the period leading up to students selecting the extended rural placements for the duration of their clinical years. At the end of this Workshop participants will have - viewed evaluation data which provide an evidence base for assertions - considered what is required to create and maintain quality rural learning outcomes - given the very different constraints of the dispersed SGRHS sites.
