Abstract: | Dr Chris Sarra's "Strong and Smart" philosophy of Indigenous education led to improved school attendance and increased community involvement at Cherbourg State School (QLD). Andrew Plastow leads an innovative program for the Indigenous children under his care as principal of Alberton Primary. Together, they talk about how they've built their schools from the ground up, while discussing pragmatic solutions to harness their students' potential. |
