Abstract: A Cainozoic sedimentary record from Eocene to Recent is known in the Noarlunga Basin. Mapping, description and correlation of the surface formations has been attempted and the subsurface geology interpreted from available bore logs. A discussion on tectonics and sedimentation together with facies changes is given.
