Title: Report on the Mount Pleasant-Tungkillo area
Author: Kappelle, K. J.
Issue Date: 1961
School/Discipline: School of Physical Sciences
Abstract: The area mapped covers the region where pyritic members of the Brukunga Formation have been cut off by the Bremer Fault. Mapping of the former 'Bremer-crush-zone' revealed that the fault consists of a series of parallel shears near Tungkillo, and that near Tungkillo the fault has aced as a hinge. The mineral potential of the area is not great and i also handicapped by the fact that most of the area is freehold.
