Abstract: | <title>Abstract</title><p>This chapter presents evidence of the presence of seed-gall nematode (<italic>Anguina</italic> spp.) carrying <italic>Rathayibacter toxicus</italic> or a variant in <italic>F. nigrescens</italic> from North America and New Zealand, and suggests that this finding is the probable cause of livestock deaths in Oregon, USA from the 1940s to 1960s.</p> |
