Abstract: | The report from the HUNT Study provides the most convincing evidence yet that weight loss has beneficial effects on occurrence and severity of heartburn and regurgitation and their response to acid suppressant therapy. These data should re-invigorate clinicians to encourage weight loss in their reflux disease patients. |
