The Troubridge Basin in South Australia is a late Paleozoic sedimentary basin, extending from the Coorong area across Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island to Yorke Peninsula. This paper reports on the Cape Jervis Formation, in particular, excellent exposures near Kingscote and in the Gap Hills. It describes the stratigraphy and sedimentology, attempts to correlate the sediments with the type section at Cape Jervis, and constructs a model for the deposition of the glacigene sediments.-
