Abstract: The role of nanomedicine in developing therapies to combat disease and body morbidity has received a plethora of theoretical analysis. While nanomedicine has well defined therapeutic value, its role in body enhancement needs greater theoretical consideration. This article focuses on the potential marriage between nanomedicine and future body enhancement. It argues that nanomedical enhancements have the possibility of overriding physical limitations of the human body. The paper discusses both current approaches to body enhancement and future applications of nanomedicine such as cosmetic neurology.
